Our collection of  tables are built of beautiful elm wood reclaimed from buildings and furniture pieces that graced the eclectic Qing dynasty. Each piece is meticulously hand built and finished by time-honored craftsman utilizing over 120 different processes. 200 year old hand carvings are intricately placed in some, while the simplistic lines and  natural wear age make others unique, and still others are hand painted with villages, kimono, and lotus scenes. Perfect in the entry or behind the sofa, no two pieces are alike. The Lotus collection is hand painted by our resident artist Chen Lau.  The lotus, which grows beautiful and pure form murky muddy waters is full of symbolism - strength, beauty, divine wisdom. In Buddhism the lotus symbolizes Faithfulness.
